In writing time, we are writing a story to go along with the turkeys we decorated at home. Our writing piece will be convincing the reader that we are not a turkey.

We are reading and learning about the history of the balloons in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade. During math time we are planning and constructing our own Thanksgiving parade balloons. We can’t wait to show these to our parents on Friday also!

Parents who can attend our reader’s theater performance on Friday at 10:00 a.m. are welcome to take their student with them and start their Thanksgiving break. We will also video our performance for parents who cannot attend.
